Who We Are

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing Caregivers, Parents, Children and our Community together.

The main purpose of the H.C.C.P.A. is to:

Support Providers- many activities and meetings to help decrease isolation in the workplace.
Educate All– Many experienced providers available to offer their support and their knowledge on all areas of daycare. Why not call if you have a question?
Serve Parents– The referral list was designed to help parents find daycare alternatives in their area.
Link Community Resources– If you don’t know what’s out there for you as a provider or parent, let us help.

It is estimated that more than 90% of children in need of care, are provided for through a private home care setting. Let’s work together to provide quality care for all children.

 

Our Mission & Philosophy

The mission of the Halton Child Care Provider’s Association (H.C.C.P.A) is:

Offer support and encourage quality care
To increase communication and reduce isolation
To promote training and other resources for skills development
To increase public awareness

We believe every child has the right to child care that nurtures their physical, emotional, intellectual and social development: and every caregiver has the right to training, information, resources and support that will enable them to provide such care.
