What We Do & How to Join

Halton Childcare Providers Association

(H.C.C.P.A) offers many services:

Monthly provider meetings with guest speakers.
Workshops and seminars (e.g. First Aid, CPR, Revenue Canada)
Referral Service, to link parents seeking care with caregivers.
Newsletters with lots of creative ideas and current daycare information.
Public awareness on the importance of providers.
Educational and recreational outings for the children.
Evening social events for providers.
Establishing neighbourhood network systems.
Community Involvement like Canadian Cancer Society: Relay for Life, Food Drive for Thanksgiving and Christmas, Mitten Drive.

How to Join the Association

Membership to the Association is $30.00 a year. Cheques may be made out to H.C.C.P.A. and mailed to c/o 710 Cumberland Avenue, Burlington, Ontario L7N 3M9 or contact us and we will send you a current newsletter along with a membership and referral form.

Membership entitles you to a bi-monthly newsletter, workshop, field trips for the children, social evenings for Providers and discounts (i.e. Costco, Indoor Playgrounds) The Association is a great way to network and receive current information on running a quality home daycare.

As a member of the Halton Child Care Providers Association, you agree to:

Accept the Associations mission statement and goals;
Present a professional attitude and behaviour when attending H.C.C.P.A. functions, outings and events or when representing the group at community and business activities;
Pay the membership fee when due;
Acknowledge that the membership fees are non-refundable.

Non-acceptance of these requirements by any member of the HCCPA means that your membership may be denied or revoked by the Association
